are hiring professional people to train as photographers and
photographer’s assistants. Photography experience is a plus, but
not necessary. The main things we are looking for in a candidate
for these positions are as follows: Professionalism - Applicants must be well spoken and demonstrate their ability to dress appropriately in formal attire. (Men - Dark suit, tie, dress
shoes. Women - Dark pant suit with dress
shoes.) Reliability
- Applicants must have a good record of punctuality, and will be
expected to perform job duties at a consistent level. Information
Retention - Applicants should have the ability to learn quickly, and
retain the information given. Works well
under pressure - There is minimal time to assess and deal with issues
that arise during a shoot. Applicants should have good problem
solving abilities and be able to think on their feet. Must pass a
background check. Our clients require that our employees meet
strict guidelines.
We have the following events coming up that we will need people for: Graduation
Photographer and Graduation Photographer Assistants – Must be able to
work December 10, 2011 - December 16, 2011 and December 17, 2011.
Some out of town travel will be required with compensation, hotel
and meals paid by Candid Color. ***Current
students of
Graduation event details: Photographers
are paid by the event, which are usually 4 - 5 hrs. Depending on
the size of the grad, pay varies from a minimum of $60 for the smallest
graduations, and $150 for the larger graduations. Assistants
are paid per event as well. Minimum of $30 for the smallest
graduations, and $50 for the larger graduations. Some who excel during this time will be retained and used for other photography sessions throughout the year. Applicants
