We are hiring professional people to train as photographers and photographers assistants. Photography experience & equipment is a plus, but not necessary. The main things we are looking for in a candidate for these positions are as follows: Professionalism - Applicants must be well spoken and demonstrate their ability to dress appropriately in formal attire. (Men - Dark suit, tie, dress shoes. Women - Dark dress, skirt and blouse or a pant suit with dress shoes.) Reliability - Applicants must have a good record of punctuality, and will be expected to perform job duties at a consistent level. Information Retention - Applicants should have the ability to learn quickly, and retain the information given. Works well under pressure - There is minimal time to asssess and deal with issues that arise during a shoot. Applicants should have good problem solving abilities and be able to think on their their feet. Must pass a background check. Our clients require that our employees meet strict guidelines.
We have the following events coming up that we will need people for: Graduations - photographers and assistants (entire month of May) Prom Portraits and Party Pics ( April & May) ***Current students of Oklahoma School of Photography may be eligible to shoot, not only assist at these events*** Graduation event details: Photographers are paid by the event, which are usually 3.5 - 4 hrs. Depending on the size of the grad, pay varies from a minimum of $60 for the smallest graduations, and $175 for the larger graduations. Assistants are paid per event as well. Minimum of $30 for the smallest graduations, and $50 for the larger graduation. Prom event details: Pay starts at $11/hr and may increase depending upon experience. Party Pic details: varies by event Some who excel during this time will be retained and used for shoots throughout the year.
